I’m not going to the Christmas work parties. Not because I hate my co-workers or because I’m a bah-humbug scrooge. I’m not going cause I can’t afford it.
This Christmas, for the first time in over 5 years – it will be just me and Mr CR celebrating Christmas day in our own home – just me and him and the kitties, and I am planning that we keep it a truly frugal Christmas.
We bought a chest freezer this week. And I LOVE it. Now – this is something we have been wanting for years but have always been cautious about spending money on (especially when you don’t have enough to buy food in the first place!)
